Jd has always liked nerds things: Star Trek, Star Wars, video games, comics, anime, books, art, science, and technology. In college, Jd was a writer, editor, and community organizer for Anime3000 and participated in Japan-U.S. exchanges. After working in Japan (not military) for 5 years as an English assistant language teacher, Jd briefly worked for the Japanese Consulate in LA before working at MiraCosta College.

JahB Prescott is a full-time faculty member at MiraCosta Community College in the Letters Department. He teaches English 100 level courses for pre transfer students where he often incorporates graphic novels like the Jon Lewis March Trilogy and Artists Against Police Brutality: A Comic Book Anthology by Bill Campbell, Jason Rodriguez, and John Jennings. Professor Prescott is a Black nerd of the 90's with knowledge of all of subjects in the "multicultural-verse". He is a comic studies researcher and an advocate for how to utilize comics in the classroom.

Mo Britt is a digital creator, influencer and musician. She started listening to K-pop and became a fan during the 2020 pandemic, also enjoying K-Style, K-beauty and K-pop culture. As one of the few Black K-pop influencers, Mo models and promotes for K-pop clothing and merchandise stores as well as post YouTube videos that include kawaii style and J-pop content.

Jeilvon Austin is an active cosplayer. While being a part of the cosplay circles as an Instagram and TikTok influencer, he cosplays for SoveReign Comics and participates on the executive committee in the North San Diego County NAACP chapter..
